ITV2 is a 24 hour free to air entertainment television channel (mixed genre) in the United Kingdom by ITV Digital Channels Ltd. The channel was launched on December 7 1998 which was available digitally via satellite, cable, IPTV and terrestrial. ITV2 was claimed to be the largest audience share after the five analogue terrestrial stations, the channel is also known for its American programming such as Gossip Girl. The channel has other sister channels which are ITV, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV, the channel also has ITV2+1 which is a time shift channel and a HD channel. ITV2 has won the channel of the year at the Broadcast Digital Channel Awards on June 9 2007 furthermore on the same year on August 25 ITV2 was the channel of the year for non-terrestrial channel of the year at the Edinburgh International Television Festival.

E4
E4 is a British digital television channel which was launched as a companion to Channel 4 on January 18 2001, the channel is mainly targeted at the 15-37 age group audience. E4 was available after the closure of ITV Digital and became part of the Top Up TV subscription scheme until May 27 2005, furthermore when the channel was available on free-view the audience has increased to advertising revenue which attracted a larger target audience. The channel programmes British and American programmes however the popular programme for American import would be The Cleveland Show and the British import would be Misfits. The channel has sister channels which are Channel 4, Film4, More4, 4Music, Heat, Kiss TV etc. also E4 has a time shift channel E4+1.

Channel 5 is a television network launched in 1997 it broadcasts in the United Kingdom and is the fifth national terrestrial analogue network to launch after BBC one, BBC two, ITV and Channel 4. This channel programmes mainly for entertainment purposes for its audience and features British programmes such as The Gadget Show, Fifth Gear and etc. Big Brother and Celebrity Big Brother are very popular shows which closed on Channel 4 and now broadcast in a new version on Channel 5 on August 18 2011.
